Youth Camps

Sponsored by the Minnesota National Guard, the Armed Forces YMCA and the Sierra Club; this is a one-of-a-kind Camp for military children ages 8-15 of deployed, deploying, or recently deployed Service Members. This camp offers deployment cycle support, YMCA adventures and wilderness experience.

Jun 13-19 St. Croix, Minn.

National Guard youth ages 10-15 experience the military environment and leadership activities at Camp Ripley. There is a fee, but scholarships are available for those in need.

Aug 8-14 Camp Ripley, Minn.
Aug 15-21 Camp Ripley, Minn.

The U.S. Army's collaboative initiative that connects community support to military children. Life skills are coached through quality retreat, daycamps, and support to military events.

2010 Dates:
Apr 23-25 Duluth, Minn.

This is a two-day, one night camp for youth ages 8-12. It is intended to help children understand and prepare for the deployment of a loved one. Boots On Campers will learn what their military loved one goes through in the deployment process.

Teen Camp is a three-day, two-night camp for teens ages 13-16. Youth will learn to work through situations with others utilizing communication skills, managing feelings, coorperation, empathy and leadership. Click here to download the Operation Military Kids Teen Camp pamphlet.

This is a free camp for youth ages 7-17 offered by the National Military Family Associations at various sites across the nation and around the world.
