American Red Cross 

Humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement. Provides relief to victims of disaster and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

Director of Mental Wellness and the Military Family

The Director of Psychological Health is a civilian position with the Army National Guard. Each state has a DPH to ensure that Servicemembers have access to mental health services, either through direct service to the individual or through referral networks. It forms collaborations of appropriate agencies, communities and professionals with the goal of creating "wrap-around" social networks and support for Servicemembers in their own communities.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve

Department of Defense organization's mission is "to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the law and resolving conflicts through mediation." ESGR provides free education, consultation and if necessary, mediation for Guard and Reserve members and their employers if they have questions or problems. The law which was established to protect both military members and their employers is known as the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act.

Family Assistance Centers

FACs are geographically dispersed throughout the state to offer resources, referrals and support to all Servicemembers and military family members.

In a casual group environment, these retreats provide an educational and practical application opportunity for military couples to learn what works – and what doesn’t work – in marriage and life partnerships.

Military OneSource

Whether it's help with child care, personal finances, emotional support during deployments, relocation information or resources needed for special circumstances, Military OneSource is there for Servicemembers and their families 24/7/365! Military OneSource offers 12 free counseling sessions per individual to help assess needs and assistance.

Medical Transition Assistance Coordinator

Serve as a liaison between organizations in order to facilitate a seamless medical transition to the appropriate medical system, if required. The MTAC works in conjunction with Beyond the Yellow Ribbon and the Warrior Transition unit of assignment to assist with the reintegration process. Military & Family Life Consultants

Masters or Ph.D. level Licensed Clinical Counselors who augment existing military services and work with families, individuals, couples and children to provide non-medical counseling services. Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Clinical Counselors offer short-term, solution focused-counseling, education and referral.

Minnesota Individual Reintegration Training

One-day reintegration training event for individual Servicemembers released from active duty. The program mirrors the 30-day reintegration training. MIRT provides the transitioning Soldier an opportunity to learn about the specific challenges of reintegration and to understand what resources are available.

Transition Assistance Advisors

Provide information and assistance to Servicemembers and their families in understanding and obtaining benefits and services through Veterans Affairs and the military health system. TAA’s perform non-clinical case management of wounded and injured Servicemembers returning from contingency operations.

Training provides deployment and reintegration information for children of Servicemembers. It provides opportunities for children and youth to participate in activities that teach life skills that help them cope and connect with other military peers in discussion groups.
