Over the past five years, the Jobs for Veterans program has served over 1,500 veterans from every branch of the military by helping them to find employment.

Enable America

Enable America is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting people with disabilities re-enter the workforce and educating the public. Enable America's VetConnect program assists seriously wounded warriors in the recovery and rehabilitation process by providing mentoring and wellness programs as well as assisting with community reintegration and providing employment assistance.

Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps
Job Corps has partnered with the Veterans Employment & Training Service to offer Veterans between the ages of 16 to 24 free training and support to transition into a career.

This non-profit organization is dedicated to helping individuals be more successful in their job search and career development. The moderator and workshop instructors are human resource professionals, career consultants and experienced executives.

MyMilitary GPS LifePlan
Helps Veterans, Servicemembers and their families set goals and design plans that will lead them to the success they desire. There is no starting or ending place; you can determine which areas are most important for your needs. There are five areas of the MyMilitary GPS LifePlan: Career, education, finance, leadership and personal.

Operation Endure & Grow

New online training experience focused on the fundamentals of launching and/or growing a small business, offered by the Whitman School of Management in cooperation with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The eight-week training program is open to National Guard and Reserve members as well as their family members.

Veterans Employment Representatives

Are located across the state in Minnesota’s 49 WorkForce Centers. They offer one-to-one assistance to eligible Veterans in areas such as skill identification and assessment, resume writing, interview preparation and a variety of job search and training services.  They also offer several very effective workshops and seminars on a variety of job search topics.

Veterans Gold Card Employment Program

Program designed to give post-9/11 veterans one-on-one career counseling and job-search assistance for up to six months. Simply print out a Gold Card and visit the nearest One-Stop Career Center.

Vetrepreneur Mentoring

This professional service is provided to veterans interested in starting their own Veteran-Owned Small Business or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The program takes veterans through the certification process and helps them go after contract opportunities.

V-Wise

Open to female veterans, this is a 15-day online course focused on the basic skills of entrepreneurship and the "language of business."
