Lower St. Croix Valley

After being proclaimed Yellow Ribbon on Aug. 23, 2011, the Lower St. Croix Valley Yellow Ribbon Network will officially continue its mission of supporting communities, Servicemembers, veterans and military families. They have created a network that prides itself in trust, follow through and commitment.

The Lower St. Croix Valley Network, comprised of five communities bordering the valley (Afton, Lakeland, Lakeland Shores, Lake St. Croix Beach and St. Mary's Point), has created a partnership with Afton Lakeland Elementary School in which the Yellow Ribbon message is demonstrated at events and workshops. The alliance has shared the Yellow Ribbon image at several events including: Lumber Jack days, the Bayport Memorial Day Parade and Lake St. Croix Beach Heritage Days.
